The most prominent of our attractions would be the 12th century Augustinian Priory, the largest monastic site in Ireland. Nearby is Kilree with it's round tower and high cross on the site of a very ancient church.

 The Kings river , which flows through the village, was home to many mills, one of which is in the village and is now used as information centre, museum, coffee shop, arts and crafts centre and crafts workshop.
